 NAMA Food Pantry 

Serving within the Norwalk School District boundaries, including Norwalk and Northern Warren County residents.

 

What to Expect When Using the NAMA Food Pantry

​Open Hours: Thursdays: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Hosted at New Life Lutheran Church

4380 Wakonda Dr., Norwalk, IA  

The NAMA Food Pantry offers a drive-thru service for your convenience.

Every visitor is treated with dignity and respect.

​

Proof of residency is required.

Bring a photo ID with your current address.

Proof of income is NOT necessary.

​

Households may visit the NAMA Pantry up to 3 times per month.

​​

Visitors will receive 2-3 pre-filled bags of food, including meat and milk, if available.

Plus, optional choice items to help meet guests needs.

Along with food, the pantry also provides household essentials the 3rd Thursdays of the month.

​

Limited delivery is available for those truly unable to come in person.

Volunteer and Donation
Opportunities


The food pantry is entirely community-supported and depends on volunteers

and donations to continue service.


Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Distribution Nights: Help distribute food on Thursdays from 2:00 – 7:00 PM.

  • Throughout the Week: Assist with sorting, stocking, organizing, and cleaning.​

Your financial and food donations sustain this vibrant ministry!

Donations, ongoing food needs include:

  • Canned Meals, (such as Chef Boyardee)

  • Canned or packages of Tuna and Chicken,

  • Cereal

  • Soup​​

In-kind donations can be dropped off at The NAMA Food Pantry host site

New Life Lutheran Church; Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Or in the collection box near the pantry doors. 

Monetary donations to support NAMA's Food Pantry and NAMA's other programs can be mailed to NAMA, c/o Norwalk Christian Church
